​Lesson Studio

Since 2005, students have traveled from 8 surrounding counties (WI: Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, Milwaukee, Waukesha & IL: Lake, Cook, DuPage) to study at Stolfe's Portside Percussion Studio.

Former students have gained acceptance and studied music at many top schools including: DePaul University, Indiana University, the University of North Texas, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Whitewater, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Parkside, Drake University, Northern Illinois University, Roosevelt University, Northwestern University, the University of Illinois, Berklee School of Music, Lawrence University, Carthage College, Columbia College.

Just starting out??? No problem...John can get you going with everything you need to get started. Equipment, techniques, reading...just starting in school band or just bought your first drum set...John know's what it takes to get you off on the right foot! 

Have some experience...want a new perspective??? John's got you covered...the beauty of drums & percussion is that there are many routes that can get us to our desired destination. Good teachers share...their experiences, methods and ideas!
